Address inquiries, information, suggestions, or criticisms to Len Ahrnsbrak, HC3, Box 3385, Theodosia, MO 65761; phone (417) 273-4311; e-mail lalphaj@webound.com.
Ron White, Shannon North, and Sharon
White are shown refilling the sausage
hopper.
Jean Pascoe (l) watches Jean Ahrnsbrak tie
up an airplane for display.

VP James Wiley (l) and new Chapter member
Mike Vaughn (r) await arrivals to move while
the ceiling lifted.
Robert Harshman keeps Young Eagle moms
happy at the YE sign-up table.

William Vandergrift (l), Billy Flinn (c), and
Billy's mother, Grace (r), after sign-up,
awaiting their turn at observing a pre-flight
and eventual Young Eagle flight.
Judges' Row was restricted because of the
weather, but enough quality airplanes were
there for all to enjoy. Check out those
clouds :(

  Making the awards.
Of course, people got hungry waiting for the
clouds to lift. John Zook (l), Bill (in back)
and Mary Marx (r) cook buffalo burgers for
the hungry. The smoke and smells from brats
and burgers hung low and stirred the gastric
juices of the crowd.

Clint Allen exercised "Matilda" the Citabria
and, making sure all systems were "go," took
to the skies.
Since the smoke from the Citabria was almost
the same color as the sky, onlookers were
kept busy scanning the area.
