Log Entry Date: Nov 14, 2009 Painting No painting - polishing I have now logged 36 hours polishing the plane, while I'm waiting for my axles. I have applied 3 complete passes using the Nuvite F9 and the finish looks very good. I think polishing might be addictive. I plan to do 1 application of the Nuvite grade C polish. Then after the plane is finished, wings installed, and controls rigged I plan to do another application of the grade C polish followed by an application of the Nuvite grade S polish. This should give the plane a really good shiny finish. | | | My picture taking a picture in the reflection of the polished plane. |
