The trailing edge on the elevators are bonded using fuel tank sealant before riveting.  This helps to keep the skins from bowing as they are riveted.

 In addition, we drilled a piece of steel angle iron to match the holes in the trailing edge.  This was used to back rivet plate with the angle to keep the assembly from bowing.
