Here are the abbreviated (she had tape recorder problems) minutes taken by Sharon Vaughn in my absence.
I do know there was a discussion about starting to work on the Pascoe Bi-plane. Members will begin work Saturday 9 AM, September 10th before the meeting.
There will be a burger cookout at noon. Members to bring potluck sides, salads & desserts. There may be some building and grounds maintenance work that morning also. We are less than a month away from Open House. Following lunch will be the business meeting.
And, someone will need to grill burgers.

The August meeting of EAA chapter 1218 was held on August 13 at the EAA hangar in Willow Springs. A delicious meal of burgers, supplied by the chapter, and potluck was enjoyed by all. With the absence of President Tom White, Vice-President Berlin Batesel conducted the meeting.
The minutes were approved as published. Motion by ____________ Second by Bob Brantley.
Jim Vokac gave the treasurers report; a balance of $XXXXX. Major expenditures for the month included an expense of $XXX for a mower engine for the lawn mower and an insurance payment of $XXX to Barton Insurance. Most of the other expenses were for supplies and utilities. Income was from jar donations and a membership rebate. Treasurer’s report was approved by motion from _______________. Second John Smith.
Hokie said the chapter has a proposed buyer for the Pietenpol. If nothing happens, the Pietenpol should be sold to a man in Wisconsin.
